Haakon's story written by Michal
I see Haakon as a deep thinker and problem solver. He can naturally understand systems and patterns, see the bigger picture, and guide others towards greater efficiency and success. These tools, combined with a driven mindset and a DIY approach, have enabled him to build houses, renovate apartments, create his own furniture, or fully kit out van conversions.

Haakon was born in Denmark but moved at an early age across the border to a small community in Sweden.
He started working on construction sites at the age of 16. At 21, he was a leading carpenter and managed his own team. He stayed loyal to this company until his late 20s when he decided to follow his heart and passion for surfing and travelling.

When Haakon arrived in Australia, he wanted to try something new. He started a career as a joiner in Sydney, where he learned a different side of woodworking with more focus on high-end details. His ability to combine his Danish eye for minimalistic details and Swedish work ethic to simplify and maximise productivity gave him a different skill set and satisfaction for accomplishment.

At the same time, he pushed himself to convert his van into a camper, and after a year of hard work, he went out travelling Australia. When he returned to Sydney, he found a job as a leading carpenter. With his innovative way of thinking, he quickly got offered a new role to manage a 4 million build in Mosman as a foreman and project manager. 2.5 years later, he successfully finished the project and moved up north to follow his purpose and passions. Haakon is the builder.
